Philip II’s Chair

Located in a nature reserve in the picturesque region of Pinar de Abantos and Zona de La Herrería, about 2.5 km south of the centre of San Lorentino. It is located in the so-called Circo de El Escorial, an isolated place where you can enjoy an incredible star shower in the middle of nature.

San Juan Reservoir

It is located in the heart of the mountains of Madrid, away from the light pollution and noise of the big cities. It is an appropriate place to observe a large number of astronomical events such as the famous Perseid showers.

La Pedriza

Another key place to see the stars is “La Pedriza”, which due to its location and altitude makes it one of the best places in the community of Madrid to contemplate astronomical phenomena.
