from 189€/night Ganymede is Jupiter’s largest natural satellite, and is also the largest natural satellite in the Solar System. It has its own magnetic field and is, indeed, the only satellite in the Solar system of its kind.
Its name refers to a handsome young man named Ganymede, who, according to Greek mythology, travelled to Olympus on the back of an eagle sent by Jupiter. Jupiter, enamoured of the newcomer’s beauty, chose him to be a cupbearer to the gods.
Later, Jupiter sent Ganymede to the heavens as the constellation Aquarius.
